I'll put it on a web server and see what he says. Thanks.
What file format to send to an iPad?

Won't it just show up in an email?
Have you tried a small test file? I just looked at a message on my touch and the PDF shows up just fine.

I've sent him multiple PDFs via email. He can't read any of them.

iBooks may not be installed, depending on when the iPad was purchased.

I sent him a link to the PDF, and that didn't open either.
When I send him JPEGs, he can open them just fine.

apparently your client is the only person who owns an iPad that cannot view pdfs on it.
your client really should update the ibooks app and then sync his iPad. either that or tell your client to call Apple Care as there is something wrong with his iPad. Unless you are also his tech support.... |
