Generally, Lego sets cost about $0.10 per piece. Less than that and it's a good deal.

Eh, my younger son has some of those large Star Wars Lego sets already and keeps the Death Star around assembled. But he never pays anywhere near $400. His roommate works at a Lego store and gets him the demo units at employee price, usually less than $50.
