The little triangle in my dock (denoting that an app is running) went missing...has this happened to any here before?

Oh...and when I cmd-tab, I can only see the Finder...even though I have multiple apps running...weird.

Quit the Dock. It'll automatically restart and will probably start working normally again.

In the Terminal run this command:

killall Dock
