I got this and actually clicked on the link in the e-mail. Didn't enter any information, of course; it brings you to a recreation of the log-in page.

. ..I just got one and here is the hitch. ..you look up the item # on ebay and it is REAL. .. (You can tell that the links in the email are not Ebay. . .)

apparently the phishers are now creating ebay transactions just for this. . .

I knew I didn't win the particular item. . .

I've been getting variations of this theme for the last couple of months including people yelling at me for not shipping the item they won from my auction (even though I haven't listed any recent auctions) and yelling at me for not paying their auction. The email threatens to report me to eBay and suspend my account if I don't click on the link and respond. It's an obvious phish/spoof, but I'm sure plenty fall for it.
