The Bacall line is a great one. Is she sexy, yes. Lauren would be a lot of fun, but Mae would change your world view.

Chevy chase from """Foul Play"""" ""but seriously would you like to take a shower"" :priate:

Fletch: Why don't we go lay on the bed and I'll fill you in?

I've used that line.

That movie had so many great lines. Here are couple more.

[to Gail Stanwyck, who answers the door wearing a towel]
Fletch: Can I borrow your towel for a sec? My car just hit a water buffalo.

Gail Stanwyck: What are you doing here?
Fletch: I ordered some lunch.
Gail Stanwyck: You ordered it here?
Fletch: Well, I knew this is where my mouth would be.

I would have been "so" been up those stairs. Mae West and Cary Grant

Two observations:

- The young Cary Grant in that clip bears a resemblance to James Cagney.
- I had no idea Mae West had such a great rack!

Bogart

"Here's Looking At You Kid"

Rhett Butler ( Clark Gable )

"No, I don't think I will kiss you. Although you need kissing badly. That's what wrong with you. You should be kissed, and often, by someone who knows how."

I'm trying to guess without searching. I just saw that movie with the past month too. It's not too old but a classic still. Dang!

Body Heat! Yeah. The screenplay for that movie is top notch. Great storytelling. I love the texture of that film too. Kathleen Turner was never better ('cept maybe "War of the Roses").
