There were rumors of an improved camera and oleophobic coating, but neither materialized.

No 3G for the Touch? Its only $130 + on the iPad! No 128GB? Disapointed. Not even a better camera?

Anyone else get the feeling that the Touch is getting left behind; it's the season of the iPhone and iPad. I won't be surprised to see less and less emphasis given to non-subscription-oriented iOS devices...

I have to wonder why Apple bothered putting such a crappy camera in the iPod.
If they can't give the public something useful, why give 'em a POS?

Same goes for the iPad.

Underwhelmed here, too. Any half-decent improvement could have easily moved me to replace my iPod touch that's less than a year old. Guess I'll wait.

It is pretty bad on the iPad, but I must say I use it a lot. I would miss it if it was not there.

Nope. My main "disappointment talking point" was the lack of new in the "new" iPods. Neither nano or touch seem to offer anything besides software updates. Yes, I'm discounting the same device offered in another color.

The iPhones 3GS sticking around only on AT&T or for $380 unlocked was also disappointing.
