Anyone use a blacklist app to block calls and texts on their iPhone?
#1
There's one called Blacklist at the app store and another called iBlacklist on Cydia for $1 and $12 respectively. I'm starting to get junk calls and texts which will only increase once I dump my landline in the next few months. I have unlimited calls and texts so it's just the annoyance factor for me.

I know this won't help you now, but I just give out my google voice number and use it's block functionality.

Yeah, it doesn't help when you get spammed by some anonymous entity. I got a spam IM this weekend from someone claiming to be giving away 1,000 iPhone 5's. Wonder where they got their hands on those, since they don't exist? But as I said, it came from some area code I've never heard of. And since I don't have a texting plan, I get to pay $.25 for it.

I just checked the reviews of those apps... sounds like they are a scam. All the 5 star reviews appear very suspicious, and then there are tons of 1 star ratings saying how much of a scam they are. Buyer beware.

I've got iBlacklist and have been using it for a year and a half. Works perfectly.
