2012 "Year of the Bible" (PA State) - what "war on Christianity"?

My guess though is that this is all pointless. Legislative bodies have the authority and discretion to run themselves. If they want to pass stupid or even illegal resolutions, which have no force of law and otherwise mean nothing, I don't think anything stands in their way other than reelection. So no court will review this because it has no meaning so no one is harmed by it, and so the court won't interfer with what they decide to do or not do.

What, did they finish work on the flag-burning amendment and needed something else to do to kill time?

Oops, I missed that it was just a resolution and not a bill. I wonder if resolutions can be found unconstitutional? Smile

This is so the so-called lawmakers can tell their constituents that they were part of this wonderful effort and hopefully impress the stupid ones, of which there are sadly too many.
