MasterCard, VISA Warn of Processor Breach
#1
VISA and MasterCard are alerting banks across the country about a recent major breach at a U.S.-based credit card processor. Sources in the financial sector are calling the breach “massive,” and say it may involve more than 10 million compromised card numbers.

Maco,

I wonder if this affects American Express, too. But, there is also the question of bank issued VISA and Mastercard debit cards. If I understand correctly, they can be processed as credit cards or debit cards and the companies that process charges to credit cards also process debit cards charges.

All Your Credit Card Are Belong to Us !

Mu ha ha ha...

Good thing you can't buy lottery tickets with credit cards any more. Now THAT would be a cool way to launder the funds... just print up cards to roll all the numbers.
