fathers day weekend has begun

My youngest made me a very nice pencil holder at daycare. I received it after a special "Dad's Donut Breakfast" this morning. The fun has begun!

Double fun for me. As it was in the year I was born ('61), my birthday and Father's Day coincide.

I have a pencil holder like that! My son made it in daycare, too. He just had his 37th birthday; some things just never change, do they?

Congratulations! I thought maybe you were going to say "Fathers' Day Weekend Has Begun" - I'll be packing and moving for three days!" Guess not.

Since we just moved into a new house I think saturday will be spent working but sunday I plan to brew beer after church. It's my day and I can do it!

Why does the phrase "Sunday I plan to brew beer after church" make me laugh?

I dunno why it makes you laugh, but it will be a nice day for me. Take the family to church, have a nice lunch, setup the brewing equipment in the driveway. There will be lots of time to play with the kids in between attending the brewing pots. It could be a perfect day if everything works out. I had hoped for a nap but I'm getting ready to go on vacation soon so I want to get the beer into the fermenters before I go.
