Is there a rechargeable version of this battery?

The problem is that those are rechargeable lithium and will be about 3.7V

is that too high for your application?

Probably so because I'm using two of them, so it would be 1.4 volts high.

then you want LiFePO4 version which seesm to be 3.0

That looks interesting, but most of the chargers look like they charge at 3.6/3.7 volts.

Hmmm... I know this is a CR2 but my CR123 charger has a switch so it can charge to either 3.0 or 3.6V.

Another caveat is that the rechargeable versions of the CR123 have significantly less capacity than the primary cells - might be an issue with the CR2s as well.

Free,

The Juice flavor would be my choice if applicable. The reason is because it includes an appropriate charger. Most of the battery chargers I've seen can't handle the CR2 size. Just AAA, AA, C, and D.
