What is this camera strap part called?
#1
What is the name of the triangular piece that is normally attached to this loop, and mates with the camera strap? I have a camera that is missing this.

Does anyone know where to find them?

The part on the camera is a strap lug, so search for a camera strap lug ring or D-ring.

Why not just use regular round split rings you can pick up at any hardware store for about 10ยข?

Heck, you probably have some round split rings in a junk draw at home (unused key fobs etc).

Yes, the key making department of a hardware store for a lot less than Amazon! Lots of sizes to choose from.

FWIW, split rings tend to roll and chew up the strap material. Mini carabiners may work better.
