Anyone retina display users experiencing this problem?
#1

One reader, who contacted us directly, reports that he’s gone through three rMBP’s, all with LG panels, and all with the same defect. He writes “all models i have had suffered severe IR [image retention], were all LG panels, and the last two besides IR have had completely untrue colour calibrations, very poor contrast and been 30% dimmer than any Samsung i have compared them to – as well as having a pink hue across the left of the screen.”

I think there's only maybe 1 or 2 users here who have a retina Macbook Pro. Maybe there's more, but I think only a couple have chimed in when I posted questions about the retina model.

We may not have a rMBP but we sure do appreciate those of you who are working out the kinks for us later adopters. Buy AppleCare.

Haven't seen this issue at all. Now, I've only touched about 5 MBPretinas so far, but none have bad a glaring issue like that.

I have not seen any such issues on our MBPr at all.

It is painful to go back to any other computer or display after using the MBPr for awhile.

It'll all be settled by the time I save up for my 2nd generation refurb. Unfortunately (for some reason) it won't be a 17".
