To celebrate the 25th anniversary of National Chemistry Week (NCW), the Princeton Section of the American Chemical Society, in conjunction with Princeton University Department of Chemistry, will hold its annual National Chemistry Week Activities Night on Friday, October 26, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, at Princeton University, Frick Chemistry Laboratory, Taylor Commons.

Learn about this year's NCW theme, "Nanotechnology: The Smallest BIG Idea in Science," and the ways in which scientists are using this exciting field to solve problems and benefit people. Area chemists will present demonstrations and hands-on activities designed for ages 5 and up. The event is free and open to the public. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

National Chemistry Week (NCW) 2012 is October 21-27. NCW is an annual outreach program of the American Chemical Society, the world's largest scientific society.

Frick Chemistry Laboratory is located on Washington Road, adjacent to Weaver Track & Field Stadium and Jadwin Gym. Parking is available in Lot 21 on Faculty Road. See princeton.edu for visitor information, including campus maps.
