I have a Bogen/Manfrotto 3021 series, heavy but steady, $225 IIRC. I try to keep it in the car but sometimes I leave it at home and regret it

I love my Bogen 3021, weight and all.
For all around value, you can't beat the Tiltall. Classic design and very effective. If they ever "improve" it, it will probably ruin it. Best balance of weight, stability, price and quality, for consumer 35mm/DSLR, IMO.

I second the Tiltall. Purchased mine second hand almost 50 years ago and it still serves me well!

Third shout out for the Tiltall.
I used one professionally for nearly 30 years (retired in 2009).
