Even though we are going to get only about 10" here in Queens (NYC), the storm has finally reached its peak winds and intensity.
What to do? Get out that strobe light you bought in the Halloween aftersale at K-Mart and let it rip. At various rates it produces neat effects from sparkling vistas to slowly moving curtains of glorious confetti-like particles. It's cool. Neighbors looked out their windows and gave a couple of thumbs up. Try it at a variety of angles as well as speeds.
