Most americans don't know it, but All In The Family was part of the invasion of british humor into american television. Similar to the british/american The Office franchise, All In The Family was the american version of the british comedy 'Til Death Us Do Part, with Archie Bunker playing as Alf Garnett. Similarly, Sanford and Son was an american version of Steptoe and Son.
