Now back to our morning concert of afternoon showtime favorites, The Magic Bowl Movement from the Symphony in C Minus by Johann Amadeus Majesky.

Uhm..... you do know that America was happily harvesting and smoking hemp and cannabis sativa quite legally for some time until before WWI.

You might argue that people were so annoyed that going to war seemed like a good idea ?

The availability of an Opiate of the Masses is often used as a method of control of fractious populations. What better way to control them Democrats than to let 'em get too zonked to remember to vote ?

"Opiate" is on the bad word list?

Apologies if this was covered earlier, but are we not supposed to discuss drugs or is that considered profanity?

The sky is falling, the sky is falling! Oh wait, nevermind, nothing happened.

So how does a well-regulated, highly restrictive program like this, that will only be used by people who are much too ill to serve in the military, have anything to do with winning something like WWII?

Massachusetts is a knee jerk hot button for most of the right wing nut blogosphere as in: "It happened in Massachusetts ergo it's bad"
