Headed to Norway.

Enjoy your trip. Norway is a beautiful country, and Aalesund is very pretty town.

It's ironic, but when my grandparents emigrated from Selbu Municipality (near Trondheim) about 120 years ago, life in America offered a clear advantage over Norway. Now I wonder if the shoe is on the other foot. Of course, Norway is not a perfect country - they have problems, too.

My grandmother was a Thompson and my brother had a blast looking up the family last year. I don't remember the town she was born.
I envy Black and his visit to the garden spot of the San Fernando Valley in North Hills. It's famous for the fact that Terry Gilliam never mentions the fact in his bio that he lived here for 5 years as a teenager. Enjoy.

Full frame?

Maybe you'll need a focusing screen with gridlines. ;-)

I have a camera with a bubble level on it. I kid you not. It has a 65mm lens that's the equivalent of a 28mm lens on a 35mm film camera or a full frame DSLR.
