Is wiFi bad for health? Someone emailed me this link and asked my opinion
#11
Price,

I look at it this way... I'm exposed to potentially dangerous, damaging crap no matter where I go and what I do. Just standing on a corner waiting for a traffic light to change exposes me to more crap than I can describe in a single post. Radiation from the sun. Exhaust fumes. Pollen. Mold spores. Dust. Bacteria of all sorts from the environment and people standing next to me. You name it.

I'm to the point where I don't think it's worthwhile overly concerning myself with the risks because there isn't much I can do about most of them. Sure, i can take steps to reduce the risk - and I do to a reasonable degree - but there is a point of diminishing returns. So, do what you can do in a reasonable manner to reduce the reason and live life.

Just my opinion. Smile

I agree with Robert. In fact I'd go so far as to say that worrying about things like wifi radiation is more hazardous to ones health than the radiation itself.

Much of my work involves evaluating health risks associated with exposures to various kinds of environmental contamination. It's always amusing to me that people get up in arms about things that represent extremely low risks (very low levels of radioactive substances, asbestos in non-friable materials, cell phone towers, for example) but blissfully ignore significant risks (overeating, smoking, sanding lead-based paint, driving cars without wearing seatbelts).
