Bust the Web Genie

It's 3 for 3 with me so far. Guesses the character you're thinking of after asking a series of questions.

I've tried animated, Ichigo Kurosaki; very recent, Lester Nygaard; and very old and it nailed each one. I'm sure it can't be that hard to trip up (without providing bogus information), but it's done well so far.

HA!
We started playing this LAST NIGHT. DON'T BUY THE KNOCK OFFS.

We played it as a family game. One person asked questions, one person answered. Family could GUESS, but not ask questions themselves. See if THEY or the GENIE guesses first.

I had one obscure person they could not guess, even after about 100 questions. A classmate/friend of mine was sole captain of Notre Dame football team. Another classmate/friend, IU, NBA, college coach now UCLA coach, it guessed correctly, though.

I just beat it with Albert Ghiorso.

It guessed Einstein, whom Ghiorso admired, Oppenheimer, whom he worked with, and Teller, whom he despised.

I beat it with Admiral Greer from the Hunt for Red October. It kept asking me if I was thinking about a character (or actor) from The Hunger Games.

I beat it with both Henry Morton Stanley and David Livingstone (African explorers).

what is also interesting is to play the same character side-by-side with more than one iOS device.

Cheryl Cole. After 41 questions, Akinator started asking me if the character was male after I said she was female in the second question. Busted.

Ran it completey off the road with Josh Kaufman, the most recent winner of The Voice.

It gets right up to the finish line -- Asks if he's a singer, if he was on the Voice, if he has dark, short hair, if he has a beard, if he's known for wearing a hat, if he wears glasses -- then it goes completely haywire.

The next question after 'Does he wear glasses?' is 'Does he have eyes?'. Then it starts asking more weird questions like, 'Does he fight?' and 'Does he fight for justice?' and it starts asking if the person has been on other singing competition shows. It names a couple of other winners of The Voice, but never manages to whittle it down to Josh Kaufman.

I'm not sure if it's a glitch in the scripting or if somebody has actually hacked in and sabotaged the code.
