Logitech Desktop - Does it REALLY suck this bad?
#1
I was given a logictech desktop (wireless keyboard and mouse) as a gift. I would be using it with my 17' Albook. The problem is that the software (I downloaded the latest driver from the website) won't pic up that I have either device. The keyboard will type and the mouse will move the curser but I can't get the keyboard configured with the extra buttons for email or music. I just get the message "No Loigictech Devices Found" when I open the control panel.

Anyone with help?

Even though most Logitech products are USB or Bluetooth-based, some of those are not technically Mac-compatible. The DiNovo keyboard and mouse set is one example, and I'm sure it's not the only one.

Their drivers are generally pretty crappy, even for their products that are supported on the Mac.

I realize you got these as a gift, but I'd consider looking at Microsoft for keyboards and mice.
