iPhone clearing photos?
#1
I am trying to make room on my iPhone 5 with iOS 8.

I had about 600 photos on the phone. I sent them to the computer and deleted from the device. Now when I plug my phone in it shows in the summary that I have 595 photos taking 2.79 gig.

In iPhoto when I select the phone it says 28 photos 59 gig.

When I add up all the items in my summary including the available space the numbers add up to the total.

How do I get the phone to give me the space from the deleted photos?

I did but no change. I did find the recently deleted on phone, emptied that but the summary now says 103 photos, phone has 28.

But I did gain of 2 gigs after clearing the recently deleted.

I would check attachments in Messages, trying to go straight to conversations that may include photos.

Check your sync settings in iTunes.

I have a 32Gb iPhone 5 and didn't have enough space for iOS8. So I did a Backup and then unchecked the
Sync Photos and Videos and then did a Sync and had plenty of space. I got finished I moved the Photos
and videos back by rechecking Sync Photos.

Yes I know I need to clean my iPhone out. I'd never buy one with less than 64gigs again. Right now I have
8GB available, I've been getting rid of a few things. I have 188 songs, 46 videos, 1345 photos and 237 Apps,
I know it's a sickness.
