Decent, not top of the line, better than Amazon price.

Amazing price for a non-Teflon, non-stick set--I bought just one piece from this set for $60 and it was the best price anywhere. This is the whole set for $190. Note that this is more delicate than the Teflon stuff, and most folks don't need a full non-stick set. Still an amazing price.

The metal looks paper-thin.

It's not. I have Cuisinart's regular Tri-Ply set at home - it is very sturdy and very high quality.

Hard to predict what the quality is going to be like-- Cuisinart has become a junk brand that puts its name on anything. I swore I'd never buy another product after the hassle I went through when my blender/food processor had a broken piece out of the box.

I wouldn't buy any of Cuisinart's regular stainless steel cookware (the Chef's Classics line); while it's not the cheapest stuff I've ever seen, one can do better. Their Tri-Ply/MultiClad line of cookware, on the other hand, is of excellent quality. Both product lines are "warranted through the original purchaser's lifetime" (language taken directly from product documentation).

That reminds me, I need to pick up a new tub for my DLC-7E one of these days.
