Yippee! 727.12 GB free.

Following a couple of other folks here, I just did a 1 Tb upgrade to my 2012 256 Gb MBP Retina. It has been quite frustrating as I've been bumping up against that limit quite a bit lately. Now I have a whole ton of breathing room. I actually have 1.1 Gb since there' also a 128 Gb Transcend Jetdrive lite installed in the SD slot. I went with the Transcend Jetdrive 725, which comes with a separate external drive case for my old drive. It also makes the transfer much easier. The install was easy peasy, and since I did the purchase before the end of the year I get to deduct it off my taxes as a business expense.

Do we really have to keep playing out this "mine is bigger than yours" game?
