I thought I was hearing things, but this carried over to Talking Dead.
All of the sudden everyone is calling Michonne, Richonne! At least, that's what I thought they were saying.
So did I have a mini stroke, or did something happen that I missed?
I don't read the comic, so it might be something tied to that?
Anyway, I liked yesterdays episode. Two months have passed since last episode.
I also like the new character, Jesus, and his martial arts skills!

I am willing to shut my brain off for Carl's complete lack of brain injury just for the sake of having the show be a hair less horrible.
Didn't notice "Richonne."

I haven't watched last night's Talking Dead yet, but I'm guessing that "Richonne" is a tongue-in-cheek reference to recent developments between two of the characters, in the same vein as "Bennifer" and "Brangelina."

Well, I guess that makes sense. It kind of threw me when I kept hearing it.
So why don't they call Rick, M'rick?

miley-laughing001:
Rick + M
ichonne =
Richonne.
The word refers to them together as a couple - it doesn't refer to either of them individually.

Isn't this basically the same thing?
Michonne + R
ick =
Mick
I do get that I shouldn't have used the "r", but damn, I'm just fooling around here. You may be taking this too seriously.

Well... no. You asked why they don't call Rick, who is a single person, "Mick," an appellation that, using the logic presented earlier, would apply to Rick and Michonne as a couple.
In simple terms, you asked "How come I don't call him "them?" That is an illogical question, hence my clarification.
