So, so many songs, bringing both pleasant and painful memories.... but the easiest answer is an entire Bob Seger greatest hits album that my husband played in my mom's kitchen, and we danced and danced... we had known each other a week or so. I was never a huge Seger fan, and oddly, I wouldn't describe him as one either (metal and classic rock... and Seger?) but I melt now!
Rainbow Connection is a song I used to love, and I think is great, but was played as I recovered from surgery as a kid, so it makes me sick now.

"The Man They Love to Hate" by The Stranglers whisks me back to 1982, listening to KROQ here in Los Angeles.
There are many more but that was the first one that came to mind since I was thinking about this same topic only a few days ago.
