High Sierra, who installed it? How is it going?

I installed on top of Sierra on two Macs: one on an internal SSD on a 2012 mini, and the other on a Fusion drive on a 2015 iMac. Both went well.
I tried the first installation on the mini by booting into a thumb drive installer, erasing the SSD and then installing and using Migration Assistant. That was a disaster. Migration assistant managed to migrate only my User name an the containing folder of my account. Nothing else. No settings mail calendar, Safari bookmarks, nothing. And it took over 3 hours to do this "nothing". I then installed from the same thumb drive on the bootable backup I had just made prior to the upgrade. That worked well, so I cloned that back to the internal SSD and I'm back in business. I don't know what happened to the Migration Assistant effort. I've used that in th past and it worked well. The key to my recovery was that I had a bootable backup clone.

Nope, in my case can't find any advantage. When and if I do download it I'll first install it on an external.

As this is my work/production machine, I'm going to hold off for a bit -- probably at least until the .1 update.
I'll also keep an eye on Roaring Apps to see what's what. I will say I've had no problems with iOS 11 on my iPhone (SE) or iPad mini (v2). And my AppleTV (4) is chugging away nicely.

It's now on my core i5 mid 2011 iMac and running fine. There was a several hour time period when things were chugging behind the scenes and Safari was virtually unusable. Now things are fine.

I was gonna upgrade, but then I got high.

Would be good to know who's using the new file system vs 'just' the new OS.
PS I waited until 10.12.6 to upgrade my wife's machine from EC, and it's STILL buggy for her. Ugh. She's a classic 'if it ain't broke, don't fi it' person...
