Good show last night: Chris Isaak
#1
He and his band were in town last night and he still puts on a great show. Lots of crowd interaction including climbing all the way up to the mezzanine! Played for 2+ hours. Had some of the crowd come up on stage to dance and played both electric and semi-unplugged with the whole band up at the front of the stage.
I have seen more shows in the past few months that I had in the last few years. Boz Scaggs just a couple weeks ago, Philip Phillips (that was more my wife's call!), and others including ballet, all due to the refurbishing of an old 30's theater. We're supporting it too by buying seats.
A quick shot of the band:

I thought he'd play that during the encore but it was during the normal set list. Big applause. All the girls swooning over that song...

I first saw him play at The Michigan Festival held in East Lansing. The Festival ran for 9 days. He was one of the acts and became a favorite of mine.

Not mentioned here http://www.lansingstatejournal.com/story.../28242869/ but the Festival was great, until it wasn't.

He did the same thing at the State Theater in Minneapolis a few years back. I was in one of those upper deck seats and I shook his hand when he came up.

Fantastic show.

I've been a fan for MANY years. My first wife's sister turned me on to Isaak back in the mid '80s.
