Finally made the switch to Frontier FIOS
#1
Our "deal" ended with spectrum, $129 month for two cable boxes, internet 50/10, Phone. Price jumped to $180 with taxes and fees. Frontier signup deal with similar setup and 100/100 internet is $100 month. Some channels are missing from our package deal, DIY network is one, but not worth the extra $10 month for the "bundle" of channels included.

Luckily I have full FIOS available, the installer was telling me about some cities with only partial FIOS service for data but no video (they have to get online Netflix/Amazon/Hulu or DISH) and some parts of the cities having no FIOS service at all.

I remember Verizon tearing up the streets about 8/9 years ago to install Fiber optic lines. Big mess everywhere. My MIL cannot get FIOS in her neighborhood, so she is stuck having to "negotiate" with spectrum.

Yes, sadly no FIOS/Fiber anywhere near me. 20 Mbps DSL is the only competition to 125 Mbps ScumCrap cable.
