iPad Mini Tripod Mount... Recommendations?

My oldest son is amazing at piano. Only been playing for about a year and a half but really enjoys it and is excelling very very fast. Over the last few months he's been recording things with his iPad Mini 2 "balancing" his iPad on the piano (GULP)... So, I'd like to buy him a mount for his iPad Mini to use with my bogen tripod (hmmmm, where did I put that). Anyone have a recommendation "which one" to purchase?

Guess it wouldn't be a horrible idea to buy him a "light weight" tripod / bracket that could fit in a bag...

If it's caseless get "Amazon's Choice" most are made of plastics with spring tension to hold the iPads in place. There are a few with twist tension designs. Since mine had a case I made a wooden diy mount. Plans online.

Get a quality tripod for stability and longevity.
