I Want a Trailer Like This!

I wish it was that easy. Backing up a trailer is a difficult thing to do well.

I see everything from total pros to inept wannabes backing up their trailers to store at my mini storage. Some guys are so good, they can back up and put their trailer between two other trailers with just inches to spare, ON THE FIRST ATTEMPT! Others? Well...

Me, I fall somewhere in-between the two, more towards wannabe. It usually takes me 4-5 attempts before I get it where I want it.

Cool video, mrlynn. This was the first I've seen it.

Indeed. Nothing like backing our little Casita travel trailer into a campsite with bystanders watching—and of course missing on the first. . . second. . . third. . . attempts.

I think the 5th-wheel trailer-drivers have an easier time than we bumper-pullers do; the 5th-wheel trailers hitch over the rear axle like the big tractor-trailers do.

I wonder what the system VW was advertising there actually does.
