1958 to be precise. The golden age of white people who were finally forgetting the soul-crushing World War and Korean War and getting affluent after those horrible depression memories. that's what the Republicans love. Too bad about those Black people and any of those losers.
But you are right, the republicans want the post Civil War eras of monopolies, robber lords, night riders and mighty waves of pollution and disease indicating true growth in the cities and country.
