Hey, that’s mean.
Actually, I had a guy ask me specifically for help the other day because he said I “wasn’t a teenager”. Lol

I've had a "Pro" subcontractor from Lowes install a door backwards so I'll do it myself thanks. You'd think anyone that considers themselves a door hanger would know the rudimentary difference between a left hand and right hand door.

Stand on your head and the problem will go away.

Level, square and plumb /in plane can be rough on an older house. If you have all three of those in the bag a door install is fairly easy. Any one or more of those "out" and tricks of the trade come in handy. Sometimes a solution is obvious, sometimes not.

This.

The house i bought years ago had the front door where the storm door ought to go. I moved the front door back and installed a storm door where the front door had been with little problem, but with a lot of work and planning nevertheless. I was happy with the results.
My skills with that sort of thing are minimal. you should do just fine.

I know, I was just teasing. Your knowledge here on home stuff is pretty extensive, AND you know your limits. That's key.
