For those still following at home....

I just called Amazon, and they told me to keep the package. I think partly because they had no clue how to process a return for an order that had already been refunded. There was a long hold while the rep discussed it with her supervisor.

They said that they even made a note that they told me to keep it.

There are about 6 stickers on the package that say "ERROR NA undefined" along with the tracking number. Most of those are covering similar stickers that have my zip code and tracking number on them.

You would think that once a package is reported lost by the carrier they would have the delivery address changed to return it to the sender, just in case it reappeared like this one did twice.

And for those wondering what was in the package. "Just a satellite phone, GPS locator, fishing rod, water purifier and some seeds. Just silly stuff."

You know, it would have been a lot quicker if the first time, when the driver was one stop away, if you had just called AMZ and told them to tell the driver to look for green smoke in the LZ.

They asked me the question that I was hoping for "Do you have a use for these items?" Between the $20 Gift card credit and keeping a duplicate $97 order, they almost paid for full year of Prime.

They lost a lot of money on this deal, they really should have FedEx'ed it instead of using their own shipping company.

I just hope that I'm not being flagged as a "problem customer" because of their losing money on me, every problem with this order was entirely under their control. I did nothing but make phone calls pointing out what had occurred.
