Use for my almost new iPad Pro

I gave my 128gb almost new 10” to one of my kids. They are using for Spotify. I asked why not get a radio. I’m not into paying for music...excep CDs. Good use for an iPad?

Well, if that’s the only use they get out of it, I’d say it’s being misused... but I’m sure they’ll get the hang of it.
Also, I’d encourage you to try Apple Music if you haven’t already. Asking Siri to play (whatever you can think of) is a great experience... at least for three months, haha...

It depends on the situation. I would use an Apple TV in a static location, or a smartphone in a car. It could work well with a battery powered Bluetooth speaker to move around the house.

Kinda like my dad back in the 80s -- I aint payin for no TV... rabbit ears.

fwiw, spotify can also be used for free.

CDs are great, but not too easy to carry around, right? If I want to listen to Elvis, and his contemporaries, and I dont have the CDs, I need buy them, rip into itunes, connect iPad and sync. Not including the time to buy them via amazon or a music store.

Or I can just open spotify, search Elvis, "blue hawaii", and press play.

I put the CDs on my iPad and have Echo for anyother music. Never use Siri. I have a very large CD library that serves me on my Touch ipods and iPads.

The newer iPads have great speakers as portable electronic devices go.

Spotify is a fine use for that device, but adding their CDs is also a plus to listen when no internet is handy.

I have an otherwise savvy sister who loves her Macs and her iPhone but doesn’t use her iPad that I gave her.

I hated my iPads for so long and never used them. Love them now that I watch news, back problems9sit in comfy chair), have a 12’ Which is good on my old eyes.
