goog voice OBi VoIP
#1
will this combo be able to VoiceMail, call-forward?
What other VoIP service providers that work with the OBi are there?
We have an like Ooma so far, but need a 3rd, but not necessarily all the "features".

Fritz,

Google Voice combined with the Obi gives you all the features of a standard VOIP provider, i.e. voice mail, call-forwarding, transcription of voice-mails, text messages, etc. Here's a list:

I've used Google Voice in conjunction with an Obi box as my home line for more than three years now. Rock solid awesome. And, best of all, no phone bills or expense other than the initial cost, which was less than $100 bucks total.

What Robert M said. iirc, I paid $34 for the Obi200 (1-line). No fees, etc.
When I see what folks are paying for the Ooma, etc. I just scratch my head and figure it's got some 'feature' they need that I do not!

:agree:

Probably the best $35 (plus another $20 to port to Google Voice) that I've spent in the past year.
