Looks like he exercised that right. No one likes being made uncomfortable.

The ironic thing is this guy's a state rep, he's actually in a position to do something real in support of women's reproductive rights. But that's hard work and it takes a long time and rarely gets you a viral video. So he does this instead...

Yes a video obviously helps raise awareness of an issue. I’d wager a coward would harass people and want it kept secret. Perhaps protesting protestors from the physical location isn’t effective support ... then again it’s direct.

Let’s safely assume he also directly votes and acts to support women’s reproductive rights. How hard he fights for that doesn’t seem something to legitimately worth worry about. Or perhaps his record proves otherwise.

Planned Parenthood has made it clear that although they appreciate "champions" they don't like what he did and it's contrary to their policies.

Planned Parenthood said Tuesday that it does not condone a Pennsylvania state lawmaker confronting anti-abortion protesters outside its facility.

Dayle Steinberg, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Southeastern Pennsylvania, said in a statement that the organization has a “strict non-engagement policy” with protesters.

This is what cowards and bullies do:

Sims had recorded a similar video the month prior, in which he offered a $100 reward to anyone who could dox three teenage girls praying in protest outside the same clinic

Sims has been a very effective advocate for LBGTQ rights, but really messed up on this situation.

I find this situation and his behavior very odd and unexpected and it makes me wonder if he's having some sort of emotional breakdown.

He has not sponsored any legislation related to protecting reproductive rights. His committee roles focus on mental health, tourism, and fishing. Since taking office in 2012 he has voted 3 times on abortion rights and has voted in favor of those rights.

He seems a bit wacky here too, from the 2016 election:

Sims sent a fundraising e-mail to supporters stating, "I never expected to have this big of a target on my back," which went on to refer to "right-wing extremists" that were trying to "their anti-choice and anti-equality agenda through our State House." Sims received criticism from the fact check website PolitiFact Pennsylvania for his statement that "right-wing extremists are trying to take this [Sims'] seat" since no Republicans filed to run for the seat. The e-mail further stated that conservatives were trying to push "their anti-choice and anti-equality agenda through our State House."[9]

PolitiFact Pennsylvania, gave Sims' statement the website's lowest ranking for truthfulness, and found that none of Sims' Democratic opponents could be considered "right-wing extremists." Each of Sims' opponents expressed support for progressive causes such as gay rights, criminal justice reform, and women's rights. "I don’t think any of us are right-wing extremists," said Snyder. Waxman dismissed the e-mail as "ridiculous false attacks." Lanni called himself a moderate on his campaign's Facebook page

Proves they aren't all on the Republican side.
