Nadler not sure of Mueller's testifying

Nadler doesn't have much hope for testimony from Mueller. Oh, no.....please don't let this happen. We need him to testify.

It might be good, but McGahn, should he cooperate, is far more important. They already know the gist of what Mueller knows. They don’t need Mueller to say, “Yes I would have indicted the President” because that could not occur. They don’t need Mueller to say in person, “Yes the evidence shows the President lied.” They don’t need Mueller to testify, “Yes, the AG is protecting the President. They don’t need to be told, “It’s your job to do something about all of it, if you want.”

Of course, if all of those “OMG!!” moments occurred on live TV, public awareness and opinion would be impacted. But a case would still have to be made and the ingredients are already in the cupboard.

Focus on McGahn. If he talks, it’ll hurt 45. If he does make it to testify with duct tape across his mouth we’ll still be where we are today.

Based on Mueller's career path and the work he has undertaken, I would fully expect him to respond to an order to not testify with "I quit". And then testify as a private citizen.
