Kaepernick Nike Ad wins Emmy
#1
Now all he needs is a career.

Colin Kaepernick's Nike ad wins Emmy for outstanding commercial.

Nike's commercial featuring former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, which prompted outrage from conservatives last year, won a 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Award on Saturday for outstanding commercial.

The ad, entitled “Dream Crazy,” was released last September for the 30th anniversary of Nike’s “Just Do It” campaign and featured Kaepernick as well as other prominent athletes, including Serena Williams and LeBron James, who advocate for social justice causes.

“Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything,” Kaepernick said in the commercial.

Good for Nike and for Kaep. How incredible it is for so many in this country to be on the wrong side of history. It's amazing that advocating for something as basic as social justice has offended regressives.

At this point, the last thing he needs is a team calling for him to play. He has made his millions without all the concussions.

And the only Emmy that 45 won was won by Alec Baldwin's for playing 45 on SNL.

He still wants to play. He's desperate to play. I hope he gets a chance to.

Yes, he certainly does deserve to play. But it's not going to happen.
