Sweet ride! You don't often see the Cord sedans, especially not in supercharged form, and I particularly like that color.

If I had the spare change. I'd bet that'll drop $50k before all is said and done. Beast sedan!

That should pay for a spare tire.

A tire, thanks to Coker Tire reproductions, probably not so bad. A rim... different story price-wise but at least doable thanks to a large and devoted owner's club.

My big concern would be the frequency and cost of maintenance for the driveline, specifically the outer constant velocity joints. I searched and couldn't even find a new or old picture of a CV joint for a Cord.

1936 Cord Factory sales brochure (Almost no difference between '36 and '37 models, and the '37 brochure was uploaded at such low resolution that the images appear to have been rendered in tile mosaic on the bottom of a pool)-

Gorgeous car!

I love Cords.

The color is very nice, first time I've ever noticed it, though I'm partial to the yellow and green pastels I've seen them in.

Though not a ragtop man, I'd give them a slight edge over the sedan.

The most beautiful car in the world.

Or one of a very few.
