macOS Photos ... and RAW files?
#1
I imported 4 test images captured as RAW+jpeg. I can see all 8 files in the Finder (where I imported them.)

I dragged the folder of 8 images into Photos and see there only the 4 jpegs. Photos knows they are "Raw+jpeg" files ...

If I edit any however, how can I determine if I'm editing the RAW or the JPEG from the camera?

This is a really annoying 'feature' of Photos.

You have to select "Use RAW as Original" for the photo you want to edit as RAW. Yeah, I used the singular.

OK thanks. That works. I guess the last time I did this years ago my earlier camera either didn't imbed the jpeg with "RAW+jpeg" or iPhoto handled it differently.

One more reason to not use Photos, for this.
