I'm in Boynton Beach on the east coast. There are no "communities" in this part of the world - more than half of my neighbors are snowbirds. Heck, I've lived here 6 years and only know 2 neighbors and that's because I fix their computers. This is a far cry from Milwaukee where I lived before and personally knew someone in every trade.
Bottom line is I guess I'll do the demo (prolly recycle the base cabinets to the garage), try to hire someone for the drywall (I hate doing drywall), get a flooring company to lay tile wall to wall (already found someone who I'm confortable with to do that ) and then install the cabinets myself. I'll have to contract the countertops.
I only wish I hadn't started thinking about the job. Now, every time I look at the kitchen I see how dispicable it is - before I never thought about it.
