Where to print vinyl decals?
#1
Background: My COVID19 lockdown hobbies have included refurbishing several vintage (70's/80's) arcade games that I've accumulated over the years. One of them is an Atari Asteroids Deluxe. The control panel on that game (like a whole lot of games from that era) has some cigarette burns, so I'd like to replace the vinyl covering on it. I have a vectorized file of the artwork in the correct size, and I want to sent it to a local (north Atlanta) shop to have it printed on adhesive vinyl.

Any suggestions on who to use or not to use? My first thought was Kinko's, which either displays my frugality or naiveté, your pick...

I'd call a couple of local sign shops. They'll certainly be grateful for the business and the turnaround is likely to be much faster than Kinko's with better quality.

...Assuming that their copyright/trademark policies don't prevent them from printing the artwork for the game.

Good idea. There's one literally around the corner from me.
