I’m SO thrilled about the timing. My schedule is vwry light due to COVID, but tonight and tomorrow morning are when I have to be out and about the most. So thrilled about the wind and heavy rain.

Those 65mph gusts further accelerated by street wind tunnels will blast the shopping cart right out of your hands. (I've had it happen)

The high winds just went through MN yesterday. So high my neighbors large pine tree snapped off at the base and fell across his driveway landed on his truck and fence as well as putting holes in his garage. It also snapped both our phone lines (mine unused) and my cable internet line.

Then today my 2017 27" iMac 4.2 GHz i7 bit the dust. Tried to run disk utility from time machine backup and it didn't help as I still can't startup with the internal drive. So I dusted off my trusty 2010 iMac and am posting on that using the xfinity hotspot.

Maybe it is telling me to get an M1 Mac mini and dual monitors....

Steve,

High wind was an understatement. It sounded and felt like a hurricane on Long Island. We have covers on the inside of components of our window air conditioners and the wind was strong enough to blow them off. It literally blasted through the air conditioners. Haven't seen anything like that in a very long time!

Apparently all the drama happened during the night. Went out dressed for monsoon conditions for a a bit of light rain that turned into no rain.
