[quote Carnos Jax]At the risk of sounding ignorant, I'm gonna come in from left field and ask "OWC is going to offer a keyboard with those same mechanisms from the revered Apple and Matias ones?"
OWC had been offering the Griffin iMate which coverts the ADB cable to USB
and I think you are right about the scissor switches

Just because their site says buy now doesn't mean they've got them available... But they will again.

[quote Carnos Jax]Also, I didn't think anymore of the Matias Tactile Pro's were being made/available?
Matias bought all the inventory of those switches and I don't think the tooling to make more is out there anymore - at least not usably.

When Matias sold out of their special keyboards using them - I think that was the end of the road.

We sold well over a thousand of those Matias Keyboards... I know they were popular elsewhere as well... I don't know a lot about making KB switches, but surprised Matias didn't invest in continuing their production.

I have 2 Saratoga keyboards (that was the codename, right) up in the attic. I hate to part with them b/c they are such good keyboards.

Good deal!

Been (almost a year ago) some time since they ran out - glad they found the demand to justify getting those switches into new production.
