Mine was the Apple IIC Plus in 1988, soon to be followed by the Macintosh Classic...

Thinking again, the above was the first purchased computer. Previous to that I had a TRS-80 that was given to me in 1985. I wrote my first electronic gradebook in BASIC.

Sweet. One of my all time favorite Macs. I bought mine from that store on the back of the New York Times. JR or something like that. I dated the woman on the phone that sold me the computer package, which in retrospect sounds insane.

7300 retired to the back bedroom in 2005 with my cat Kiddy (mouse-catcher).

Coolscan III!

I had one and took it out of the external case and mounted it in my MacTell Mac clone as it used a regular PC case with an extra 5.25" bay. I felt pretty, um..., cool? with an internal slidescanner!

And I may have even scanned a slide or two on occasion in those Photoshop 3.0.5 days...

My first computer was a Commodore Vic-20, back in 1982, I think. First computer I actually bought for myself was another Commodore, an Amiga 500. Next was an Amiga 3000 before I finally jumped to the Mac.

I vividly remember your posts announcing his illness and then later his death. You were a SAD MAN back then.

I don't recall... do you have a new feline friend?

My first mac was the Macintosh SE. A long time ago, and several macs since then. I should test my memory and list all the macs I went thru!

I do not. I've been too busy. I think about Kiddy every day. He slept on my bed for 15 years. I still remember when he was a kitten. My sweet boy.
