Some players snapped pictures of Lake Tahoe and the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains as they came out for their first look at the picturesque outdoor rink that will host a pair of NHL games this weekend.

I'd go to that. I can boo Boston reflexively, boo Vegas for taking away the Raiders and boo Colorado for being a fun, destination state. I guess I'd have to be on the roof. Markintosh can bring me some wings.

When the Atlanta Hawks were waiting for Phillips Arena to be built after the demolition of The Omni, they played home games at Georgia Tech's "ThrillerDome. I got to see Michael Jordan and Kobe (during the Lakeshow era) up close like I'd never had before.
