Missing from the news- where did they go?
#1
With the today's splash of headlines (Covid, Kabul, Ida, Fires), what happened to the items making large headlines just a couple of days ago?

I can think of 3 offhand:
1) Huge earthquake in Haiti.
2) Andrew Cuomo's exit
3) Billionaire's space race

but there's more...what are your suggestion for the 'once important, now disappeared' stories?
(ps-that doesn't mean they don't exist...only you've been diverted from them)

Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.”

There is only so much room on the front page - if you crack open the paper, you'll find stories on all of these events. The withdrawal from Afghanistan, Hurricane Ida and Calif fires are all bigger stories and belong on the front page
