ON1 Professional Plugins collection on sale $75
#1
ON1 Effects is what I have been using to enhance my portrait projects the last 7 years or so. The filter called "Charge More" enhances portrait photos to give them a deeper, rich look that one can truly charge more for. The BF sale is their entire suite for $75. About a day left on this sale. Is is compatible with 64 bit intel macs and runs on M1 Macs. I have test run the effects on my M1 mini without issues.

Our applications work with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, Affinity Photo, Corel Paintshop Pro, and Apple Photos.

Great set of filters. Like you, I used them on portraits but they worked on well for just about any image.

I used to use ON1 PhotoRaw up to 2020, mostly as a plugin in Photoshop but found I was using Anthropics Portrait Professional, Aurora HD and Luminar along with the Topaz suite as plugins more often so I pretty much let it go. Is there anything ON1 is doing better than the competition at this point that would warrant me upgrading to 2022?

I used an older version of Anthropics but its been a while. I haven't used the other programs you mention so I can't really compare. If what you have works for you, no reason to switch.

I just upgraded Anthropics but haven't installed it yet. Luminar has added a number of interesting portraiture features in the last couple of updates and it pretty mush replaced ON1 for me. That's exactly the reason I let ON1 go. It was redundant and the other stuff has pretty much covered the bases for me, even allowing me to work a bit faster.

Looks like you need a new OS to use it. I'm still on 10.12.1 and I ain't "upgrading" ...
